Job summary

Meijer is hiring a software engineer to code, test, and configure programs, and to work with product owners and developers to optimize systems. The role emphasizes SAFe Agile practices, collaboration with IT partners, and production support as needed.

The position involves development across front-end and back-end with C# and .NET on-prem and Azure, plus API integration. A flexible remote schedule with travel to Grand Rapids MI may be required, and no immigration sponsorship is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
SAFe certification (SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, SPMPO).
Experience in systems development, programming or business/systems analysis.
C# and .NET development with on-prem and Azure (Logic Apps, Function Apps, Storage, Data Factory).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Postman, Mock responses, and API Gateway.
Strong collaboration and agile project experience.

Responsibilities

Codes, configures, tests, and implements programs and packages.
Develops systems documentation per SAFe and industry standards.
Runs unit tests and takes corrective action.
Collaborates with the Product Owner and IT partners to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
Assists in production support and maintenance of applications.
Participates in all Agile ceremonies and secure coding reviews.
