Job summary

Kepler Team LLC is seeking a QA Engineer to join in a flexible capacity with opportunities for full-time or part-time engagement. You will combine manual QA expertise with AI-driven testing practices, train AI agents, validate AI outputs, and ensure clear communication of testing progress to clients and teammates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manual QA experience, practical knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/Qase.io/Postman, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual QA experience with clear test plans and test cases.
• AI integration and tool adaptability in QA workflows.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Qase.io, or equivalent.
• API testing using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong communication skills to articulate issues and recommendations.
• Database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• AI agent and workflow training to draft issue descriptions and generate test scripts.
• Validate AI-generated test outputs and documentation for accuracy.
• Leverage modern QA automation and AI platforms to expand coverage.
• Defect management: document, prioritize, and track issues to resolution.
• Communicate testing progress and risks with team and clients.
• Oversee releases, perform regression and smoke tests.
• Participate in demos and status updates.
• Manage multiple testing assignments in an agile environment.
