Job summary

Eaton Construction Services in Knoxville, TN seeks an Operations Administrator to run back-office functions and deploy AI agents to automate HR, payroll, and administrative workflows. You will manage onboarding, PTO, benefits, vendor paperwork, and subcontractor compliance while integrating Claude-based automation with our software stack.

You’ll work in an in-office environment with a growing construction firm expanding across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing Claude or similar LLMs beyond chat
• Proven ability to deploy AI agents or automations that save time
• Good judgment on what to automate vs. what needs human review

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Claude-based agents and workflows across HR, payroll, onboarding, and procurement
• Connect Claude to Microsoft 365, Autodesk Forma/ACC, QuickBooks, and BuilderTrend; refine prompts and instructions
• Document automations: purpose, review process, failure handling; track time saved per automation
• Prepare weekly payroll change reports for VP approval and submission
• Coordinate onboarding, PTO tracking, benefits administration, and benefits enrollment
• Issue and track subcontractor compliance, vendor invoices, and monthly close documentation
• Manage user access, licenses, and central contracts/purchase orders
