Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. seeks a Senior AI/Cloud Engineer to support Heavy Civil Construction operations by delivering AI-powered solutions, dashboards, and data integrations using Microsoft technologies on-site in Draper, UT.

You will collaborate with operations and IT, own end-to-end projects, and translate complex data into practical tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, AI solutions, or a related field.
• Strong programming and development skills including SQL and REST APIs.
• Experience with Python, .NET, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Power Platform, or comparable cloud technologies.
• Experience developing AI solutions, automations, or data-driven applications.
• Ability to work independently, communicate with non-technical teams, and convert business needs into working solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
