Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services seeks a Legal Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered legal automation solutions that make workflows faster, smarter, and scalable across the department.

You will collaborate with attorneys, compliance, and business partners to translate requirements into practical tools, govern AI use, and roll out new technologies with training and metrics, ensuring adherence to governance and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• JD required in the US or equivalent; licensed to practice law
• 3+ years in legal tech, operations, or automation
• Experience implementing legal tech platforms and drafting scalable workflows
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and practical AI in legal workflows
• Strong change management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with attorneys, compliance professionals, and stakeholders to optimize workflows
• Translate legal/business requirements into automated tech solutions
• Design, configure, and implement AI-powered legal tools (contracts, intake, matter mgmt, eDiscovery)
• Lead rollout plans, stakeholder readiness, and post-launch reviews across geographies
• Develop training materials and governance practices for responsible AI use
