Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of application development experience.
• Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and collections.
• Experience with SQL/RDBMS and cloud fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within global Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Apply knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and transaction management.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
• Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
• Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and agents for development and debugging.
• Apply Context Engineering and AI-first development practices to improve delivery outcomes.
• Assess and manage risk with Citi policies and regulatory requirements.
