Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Java 21+ and modern Java development practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools, specifically Claude Code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate production-grade Java microservices using Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3.
• Decompose legacy monoliths into independently deployable services with internal SMEs and external vendors.
• Own domain services and drive architecture, reliability, and evolution.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and implement event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus or similar.
