Job summary

Milliman MedInsight seeks a Product Strategist to advance data, workflow, and AI-enabled decision-support products. You will bridge data teams, partners, and product lines, translating market needs into actionable strategies and scalable offerings.

You will work across payer, provider, clinical, and engineering teams, shaping commercialization, partnerships, and go-to-market plans while ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, strategy consulting, commercialization, or a related discipline, preferably within enterprise software, healthcare data and analytics, or technology-enabled services.
• Experience with clinical and pharmacy data, data-as-a-service, APIs, interoperability, and FHIR is preferred.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, commercialization, platforms, product development lifecycles, and business planning.
• Track record collaborating with cloud providers such as Azure, Databricks, AWS and or GCP to execute joint technology strategies or co-innovation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models, intelligent agents, and financial/clinical workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop business cases, product definitions, and concept memos for opportunities, articulating market opportunity and value proposition.
• Drive incubation of data, workflow, and AI-enabled products leveraging partners and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align customer value propositions with data, models, workflows, and compliance.
• Support product roadmap development with documentation of capabilities and priorities.
• Assist partnerships with technology providers to prototype data strategies and drive joint innovation.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform strategy.
• Support onboarding of external data assets and partnerships to expand use cases.
• Lead proof-of-concept design and evaluation with partners to de-risk initiatives.
• Serve as product SME in training, client discussions, and pre-sales activities.
