Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to shape AI-enhanced digital experiences for Cat.com, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities that improve discovery, engagement, and self-service.

You will own the product backlog, set measurable outcomes, and collaborate with UX, data science, and engineering to deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions while aligning with privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner delivering customer-facing digital products.
• Experience defining product requirements, features, and backlogs in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with AI-powered experiences, including LLMs and generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of customer-facing digital platforms such as e-commerce or online retail.

Responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap for AI-powered CX initiatives.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, engineering, analytics and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Gather, refine, and document requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Shape intelligent capabilities including personalization, recommendations, and guided digital interactions.
• Collaborate with AI, data science, and engineering teams to evaluate options and deliver scalable experiences.
• Work with UX and research to identify needs and optimize user journeys through testing.
• Define and measure KPIs to assess adoption and business impact.
• Lead experiments including pilot programs, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Ensure AI experiences align with privacy, accessibility, security, and responsible AI.
