Job summary

Skechers U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to advance our detection and response capabilities.

You will develop security automation playbooks, build detection content, and manage log data processing infrastructure to support monitoring and response. You will work cross-functionally with infrastructure, application, and business teams worldwide, leading threat hunting and integrating AI-enabled analysis into security workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a dedicated cybersecurity role or equivalent IT experience
• GIAC, (ISC)2, or equivalent certifications are a plus
• Proven ability to develop, tune, test, and document detection rules and alerts

Responsibilities

• Source and analyze log data to create insights, detections, and dashboards
• Develop, tune, and maintain detection logic and alerts based on threat intel
• Lead threat hunting and purple team exercises and drive improvements to detection and response
