Job summary

G.A. Rogers & Associates is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage the corporate accounting function for a multi-entity organization. You will own the monthly close, oversee the general ledger across entities, and supervise other accountants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• At least seven years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supervising or reviewing others' work.
• Strong GL, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and GAAP knowledge.
• Real estate, operating companies, investments, or family-office accounting is a plus.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel; CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar real estate accounting platform is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function for a complex, multi-entity organization.
• Own monthly close and GL accuracy across entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany activity and keep related balances reconciled.
• Support A/P, A/R, payroll, and cash management activities.
• Assist accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, new ventures, financing.
• Research unfamiliar GAAP issues and determine proper treatment.
• Review AI-enabled processes for accuracy and quality control.
