Job summary

Legion is seeking a Cloud Release Quality Manager to lead software releases across our cloud platforms and to drive readiness, coordination, and delivery of new features, hotfixes, and enhancements.

You will coordinate product, engineering, QA, support, and operations to align on release scope, milestones, and risk, while championing AI agents and automation to speed up processes and improve quality.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of release management experience in cloud-based software
• AI enthusiast with hands-on ability to build and deploy AI agents to automate release activities
• Demonstrated experience managing complex release processes in SaaS, PaaS, or cloud-native environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple releases and deadlines simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage end-to-end release timelines with defined milestones
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on release scope and quality goals
• Track release checkpoints including DoD reviews
• Facilitate go/no-go meetings and manage readiness risk
• Provide status updates to stakeholders via dashboards and briefings
• Design and deploy AI agents to automate release activities
• Automate Release Readiness end-to-end and standardize tooling
• Identify and prioritize manual workflows for automation
• Integrate AI agents into CI/CD and release tooling
• Confirm documentation, training materials, and handoffs ahead of release
• Create and manage deployment tickets for production releases and hotfixes
• Ensure compliance and security requirements and support audits
• Lead customer defect triage meetings and track resolutions
• Monitor post-release metrics to improve processes and quality
