Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced public opinion researcher to build and lead an in-house polling and research function. You will shape how policymakers, stakeholders, and the public perceive Anthropic's policy positions and campaigns, with high autonomy and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll establish trusted relationships with polling firms worldwide and translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations to drive campaign effectiveness and policy impact.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing public opinion research, including survey design and message testing.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative polling data and translate findings into written recommendations.
• Experience selecting and managing external polling vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive strategy for in-house political research aligned with policy goals.
• Identify and manage relationships with leading research and polling firms across demographics and geographies.
• Conduct proactive research to test messages, policy proposals, and brand perception.
