Job summary

Ares Operations LLC is seeking a Senior Associate, AI PMO to drive end-to-end program management for AI and data initiatives. You will translate strategic priorities into structured delivery plans, run agile execution in JIRA, and craft executive materials for senior leadership.

The role partners with product, engineering, and platform leads, owning the cadence of the PMO with autonomy. Strong PowerPoint and data/AI domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of program/project management experience in technology, data/AI, or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for AI/data initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Establish and run governance cadences (steering committees, sprint reviews, milestones).
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, and resource conflicts with mitigations.
• Define and maintain RAID logs, roadmaps, and capacity views across engineering, product, and data science pods.
• Build and maintain JIRA structures and ensure backlog readiness for squads.
• Groom backlogs with engineering leads and product managers; size effort and sequence delivery.
• Own JIRA/Confluence hygiene and reporting (burndown, velocity, releases).
• Develop executive-ready PowerPoint materials and messaging for steering committees.
