Job summary

A Senior Associate, AI PMO at Ares Management leads end-to-end program management for AI/data initiatives, translating strategy into delivery plans and ensuring governance across the Data & AI organization.

You'll partner with product, engineering and data science teams, own JIRA/Confluence pipelines, and develop executive-ready materials for steering committees and leadership reviews. Strong PMO, communication, and data/AI knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of program/project management experience in tech/data/AI or financial services.
• Proven ownership of multi-workstream technical programs from strategy through delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with executive and board-level narratives.
• Hands-on experience configuring JIRA/Confluence for technical execution; Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management for a portfolio of AI/data initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Establish and run governance cadences (steering committees, sprint reviews, milestones).
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies, resourcing conflicts, and critical-path risks; escalate with mitigations.
• Define and maintain program-level RAID logs, roadmaps, and capacity views across engineering, product, and data science pods.
• Independently develop executive-ready PowerPoint materials for boards and steering committees.
