Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Security Engineer for AI Platform Engineering in San Diego to build secure AI platforms and empower teams to use AI safely. You’ll implement robust backends, guardrails, and hosting solutions that scale across departments.

You will own AI governance, visibility, and data protection, partnering with security, engineering, and legal teams to ensure compliant, trustworthy AI deployments.

Qualifications

• You’ve shipped AI-enabled solutions with LLMs, agents, or automations.
• You build real backends, data pipelines, authentication, hosting, and secure deployments.
• You understand agent concepts (loops, harnesses, function calling) and model selection for tasks.
• You can design guardrails, governance, monitoring, and DLP for AI systems.
• You can teach and enable non-technical teams to use AI safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Enable departments by building AI-powered apps, agents, and automations with secure hosting.
• Educate teams on safe, effective AI usage and set company-wide standards.
• Own AI governance, visibility, inventory, monitoring, and data-loss prevention measures.
