Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Security Engineer for AI Platform Engineering in Austin to build and govern safe, scalable AI platforms across departments. You’ll enable secure AI-enabled workflows, train teams, and establish guardrails, with a focus on production-ready backends and compliant hosting.

This is a customer-facing, cross-functional role that requires strong collaboration across engineering and security.

Qualifications

• Shipped agents, tools, or automations with LLMs and can discuss hard parts.
• Built real backends and infrastructure: APIs, data pipelines, hosting, IaC, CI/CD, systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Enable departments by building AI-powered apps, agents, and automations across our cloud platforms with real backends and compliant hosting.
• Educate teams and set company-wide standards for safe AI usage.
• Govern AI governance, visibility, and data-loss-prevention to protect data across the org.
• Implement guardrails and enforce least privilege for AI identities and access control.
• Craft reliable AI by designing workflows, managing context/memory, and evaluation loops.
