Job summary

Camping World is seeking an AI Engineer for Good Sam Analytics – AI Enablement in Chicago. You will design and build agent architecture, implement LLM pipelines, and validate outputs while collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to scope and ship new agents.

You’ll work in a small, fast squad focusing on production-quality agents, bridging internal systems to agents, and applying RAG and governance patterns to deliver reliable, secure AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering with Python backend
• Hands-on with LLMs: prompts, tool calls, parsing, evaluation
• Experience with agent orchestration patterns/frameworks (LangGraph/LangChain)
• Strong SQL and data warehousing, Snowflake preferred
• Experience guiding AI coding assistants to production code
• Strong API design and data modeling
• Familiar with LLM eval concepts and golden test sets
• Git and CI/CD experience
• Comfort in fast, iterative delivery with rigor

Responsibilities

• Build and extend agent-serving architecture with hierarchical orchestrator and per-agent cost controls
• Bridge internal systems to agents securely via MCP or custom tool patterns
• Design multi-agent workflows using LangGraph/LangChain and determine when a single loop is best
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) grounding knowledge to company content
• Use Claude Code and similar AI tools to write, refactor, and test production code
• Translate requirements into precise system prompts and tool schemas
• Maintain golden question sets and CI checks to catch regressions
• Balance automation with human oversight to ensure correctness in shipped agents
