Job summary

RSC2, Inc. in Hanover, MD is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to advise and support AI platform architecture across cloud and enterprise Gov environments. The role requires TS/SCI with poly and extensive experience in AI/ML, cloud, and platform engineering for government or defense sectors.

You will work with Azure and AWS, containers, data pipelines, model hosting, and secure access patterns, ensuring scalable, secure AI solutions aligned with mission goals.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance.
• 12+ years with Bachelors, 10+ years with Masters in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting AI/ML, data, cloud, or platform engineering in government/defense/enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and/or AWS platform ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA support to government leadership and technical teams on AI platform architecture, integration, and sustainment.
• Advise on design and evaluation of AI/ML platform environments across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise deployments.
• Support platform decisions involving Azure, AWS, Microsoft services, containers, data pipelines, and secure access patterns.
• Assess platform readiness for AI workloads including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, observability, and scalability.
