Job summary

PlayAGS, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our AI program in production. You will own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and the AI deployment platform.

The role requires 5–8 years in DevOps or platform engineering, strong cloud skills (Azure preferred), and expertise in IaC, Docker/Kubernetes, and security. Join a leading gaming supplier to enable reliable, scalable AI deployments.

Qualifications

5–8 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider; Azure preferred.
Terraform, Bicep or Pulumi for reproducible cloud environments.
Docker, Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps with Helm management.
Experience deploying AI/ML infrastructure and model serving APIs.
GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins for polyglot pipelines.
Secrets management, network security groups, and cloud IAM basics.
Python/Bash scripting; PowerShell for Windows/Azure environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provision and manage the agentic AI platform infrastructure including API gateway and vector DB.
Container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps and Helm.
Implement monitoring and observability with Datadog or Azure Monitor.
Apply security controls at the infrastructure level including IAM integration.
Support game build pipelines and certification checkpoints.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game software and AI models.
Create developer-friendly infrastructure to reduce blockers for engineers.
