Job summary

AGS LLC is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to design and maintain the production infrastructure enabling our AI program. The role emphasizes hands-on cloud, CI/CD, container orchestration, and the agentic AI deployment platform.

You will build scalable pipelines, ensure security, and support game build pipelines including Unity-related processes. The team focuses on reliable, scalable infrastructure for production deployments.

• Must have hands-on DevOps/platform engineering experience in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage the agentic AI platform infrastructure including LLM API gateway, vector databases, and model serving endpoints.
• Coordinate container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps with Helm charts.
• Implement monitoring and observability with Datadog, Azure Monitor, or equivalent for health, latency, and cost tracking.
• Enforce security controls: secrets management, network segmentation, IAM integration, and cloud policies.
• Support Unity game build pipelines and certification compliance checkpoints as part of the build process.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game software, AI models, and business apps to automate build, test, and deployment.
• Create developer-friendly infra to reduce blockers for game developers, AI engineers, and data engineers.

Position Title: DevOps Platform Engineer

Job Overview

The DevOps / Platform Engineer builds and maintains the technical infrastructure that enables AGS's entire AI program to run reliably in production. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and the agentic AI deployment platform. The DevOps Engineer is a prerequisite for the AI program without reliable infrastructure, no agent or model can be deployed to production.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage the agentic AI platform infrastructure LLM API gateway, vector database (Pinecone/pgvector), container-based agent deployment, and model serving endpoints
• Container orchestration manage Docker containers, Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps, Helm charts, and health monitoring for all deployed services
• Implement monitoring and observability deploy Datadog, Azure Monitor, or equivalent for infrastructure health, application performance, AI model latency, and cost tracking
• Implement security controls at the infrastructure level secrets management (Azure Key Vault), network segmentation, IAM integration, and infrastructure-level security policies
• Support game build pipelines understand and support the Unity game build process including certification compliance checkpoints and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for game software, AI models, and business applications automated build, test, and deployment without manual intervention
• Create developer-friendly infrastructure reduce friction for game developers, AI engineers, and data engineers so they can ship without infrastructure blockers

Skills/Requirements

• 58 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of cloud infrastructure at a company of comparable technical complexity
• Azure and/or AWS expertise deep hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider; Azure preferred given AGS's Microsoft ecosystem
• Infrastructure as code proficiency Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi for reproducible, auditable cloud environments
• Container and orchestration experience Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps; Helm chart management; experience scaling containerized workloads
• AI/ML infrastructure experience has deployed LLM-based applications or ML models to production; experience with vector databases, model serving APIs, and LLM cost management
• CI/CD pipeline expertise GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins; has built pipelines for polyglot environments (multiple programming languages and frameworks)
• Security fundamentals experience implementing secrets management, network security groups, and cloud IAM integration
• Strong scripting skills Python and Bash for automation; PowerShell for Windows/Azure environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

• Experience with gaming software build pipelines including certification requirements
• Familiarity with Unity game engine build and deployment processes
• Experience with remote device management for distributed hardware fleets
