Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI and analytics platform capabilities. You will build full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and data workflows while integrating AI services and ensuring security and reliability.

You’ll work with product, design, data, security, and operations teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable platform capabilities across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software-engineering experience.
• 3+ years with a modern frontend framework (Angular, React, Vue).
• 3+ years with a backend framework (FastAPI, Flask, Django, Spring Boot).
• 2+ years Python and/or Java.
• 3+ years GCP experience (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
• 2+ years infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code-quality checks, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Develop interfaces between platform components and other enterprise systems.
• Translate needs into technical designs, API specs, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with product/design/data/security/ops teams in Agile delivery.
