TikTok is seeking talented engineers for the General Architecture team in San Jose. You will explore AI-native engineering infrastructure, treat AI agents and developers as first-class citizens, and work on automation that improves R&D efficiency and platform stability.

You will design architectures for AI-driven scenarios, stay current with tech, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-availability solutions with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Hands-on software development experience (coursework, internship, open source, or personal projects).
• End-to-end delivery mindset across client/server/data layers with basic understanding of rest.

Responsibilities

• Explore and implement AI-Native Engineering Infrastructure and AI-driven scenarios.
• Leverage AI to drive automated maintenance, refactoring, diagnosis, CI/CD optimization, and knowledge management.
• Design and build architectures, interfaces, and frameworks for AI-driven workloads at scale.
• Stay current with software engineering and systems technologies and adopt new tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available platform solutions with measurable impact.
