GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a collaborative, self-motivated DevOps & Application Support Engineer to join our AI Platform engineering team. You will be the primary owner of DevOps, maintenance, and support for our in-house Open Web UI used by ~2,500 production users.

The role emphasizes environment management, issue triage, and keeping our platforms running smoothly, with opportunities to contribute to core AI Platform development as workload allows. Location: USA, Louisville, KY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3 years experience in DevOps, software engineering, or technical support.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and open-source forks.
• Docker understanding and container deployment.
• Experience across Dev, QA, Prod lifecycles.
• Strong triage and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborative, Agile team player.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps, maintenance, and support for Open Web UI.
• Manage deployments across Dev and Prod environments.
• Triage user-reported issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Contribute to AI Platform development when possible.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Collaborate with AI Platform team in Agile ceremonies.
