Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Lead Product Designer for AI Platform to shape enterprise AI across the product suite. You will work across product verticals with PMs, engineers, and leadership to translate AI capabilities into coherent experiences that scale.

This leadership IC role requires 10+ years in SaaS design, hands-on AI product experience, and strong systems thinking. You will create prototypes, patterns, and guidance, coaching designers and helping define Rippling’s AI future.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of product design experience in SaaS, platform, or enterprise products.
• Hands-on experience designing and shipping AI products or AI-powered features.
• Exceptional systems thinking across complex architectures and data flows.
• Experience leading high-impact cross-product initiatives as a senior IC or design leader.
• Strong interaction design craft and ability to prototype novel patterns.
• Excellent executive communication and storytelling for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design vision for AI Platform experiences across Rippling.
• Create reusable frameworks for AI interactions, workflows, and control.
• Lead large cross-product design initiatives with multiple dependencies.
• Collaborate with AI Platform PMs, engineering managers, and design leaders.
• Translate AI behaviors and platform constraints into practical patterns.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and decision-making artifacts.
• Coach designers, review work, and codify scalable guidance.
• Stay close to customers and inform Rippling’s AI product strategy.
