Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking an AI performance strategist to shape the benchmarking framework, performance analysis, and developer tooling across AMD AI software.

You will partner with engineering, architecture, and customers to drive high‑impact workloads. The role requires translating complex performance needs into actionable product requirements and roadmaps, with hands‑on experience in AI frameworks, GPU optimization, and performance methodology.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or performance engineering for AI/ML infra.
• Hands-on with AI/ML frameworks and runtimes (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX).
• Strong knowledge of GPU computing, heterogeneous systems, and model serving.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy for AI performance, benchmarking, profiling, optimization, and tooling.
• Define product requirements, roadmaps, and success criteria for AI performance initiatives.
• Analyze inference/training workloads to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Develop rigorous performance narratives, including benchmarks and workloads.
