Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Austin, TX, invites a Senior Manager, AI Power & Performance to lead a team delivering industry-leading AI performance, power efficiency, benchmarking, and optimization for Embedded and Edge AI platforms.

You will partner with architecture, software, silicon, product management, and marketing to secure competitive leadership across Robotics, Physical AI, Automotive, Industrial, and Edge AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, system performance, or related domains.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex programs.
• Experience in Power and Power PnP activities Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon & Correlation.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, inference runtimes, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with CPUs/GPUs/NPUs and accelerators.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AI power and performance strategy across AMD platforms.
• Establish benchmarking methodologies, KPIs, and workload characterization processes.
• Drive performance optimization across AI models, runtimes, kernels, frameworks, and system software.
• Lead performance readiness for AI solutions across Robotics, Physical AI, Automotive, Industrial, Edge markets.
• Build and grow a high-performing global engineering organization.
