Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director for AI Network & Data Center Engineering to shape the strategy, design, and delivery of our enterprise network and AI/ML workloads. This leader will guide a high-performing team, align infrastructure to business needs, and collaborate with cloud, security, and platform teams to enable scalable GPU environments.

The role emphasizes modern architectures, automation, and secure, resilient connectivity to support long-term growth and digital transformation

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in network and/or data center engineering.
5+ years in a strategic leadership position with people management.
5+ years in large scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Define and enforce network architecture standards, security controls, and compliance policies.
Establish best practices for configuration, deployment, and operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, secure solutions.
Design data center fabrics (leaf-spine, Clos, EVPN/VXLAN) and AI/GPU-optimized networking.
Oversee 24/7 network operations across cloud and data centers.
Mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams.
Drive automation and IaC, and contribute to industry initiatives.
Own network architecture strategy and roadmaps; support budgeting and planning.
