Life360 is hiring an AI-Native Senior Software Engineer II to shape aging-in-place features on the Verticals team, covering backend services and native mobile apps with a modern AI-centric stack (Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, AWS, Swift, Kotlin).

You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate with product and design, and help codify AI-native engineering practices while expanding into Things and Pets verticals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building high-quality consumer-scale services.
• Hands-on with LLM prompting, evaluation, and integration.
• Full-stack proficiency across backend and mobile clients.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end features across backend and mobile surfaces.
• Define AI-native practices and playbooks.
• Mentor teammates and participate in on-call rotation.
