Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co is seeking a Manager, Full Stack Engineer to join an AI-first, agile product team supporting Global Development Operations. You will design, build, and operate AI-native products deploying large language models and agentic workflows to enable decision making and automation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering, strong Python/React skills, and experience with Generative AI within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of strong experience in software engineering; Pharma/Life Sciences experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Smart track record delivering moderately complex technical solutions in a regulated environment.
• Experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI applications with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, etc.
• Strong proficiency in Python and React; Java or TypeScript familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LLM-native and agentic systems as long-lived products with governance and monitoring.
• Partner with product managers to identify AI-driven improvements in clinical and operational workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Python/Java/Node.js/React.js applications.
• Support and improve SaaS and in-house apps for high availability and performance.
• Manage lifecycle, incident resolution, and enhancements across enterprise platforms.
• Incorporate microservices, APIs, event-driven processes, and middleware.
• Implement CI/CD practices and monitor model performance in production.
