Job summary

Alma is hiring a Product Engineer - a backend-leaning, AI-native engineer who owns features end-to-end, from database schema to the React component the user clicks on. You'll work directly with the founding team and early customers to ship a world-class AI-powered product, and help scale our platform by 100x.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Willingness to own frontend work.
• Experience with AI-native tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the founding team and early customers to build a world-class AI-powered product.
• Own features end-to-end - architect the backend, build the frontend, and ship to production.
• Partner with design and product to translate user needs into shipped experiences.
• Engage in the entire application lifecycle with a high bar for coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Operate as a force multiplier with AI tooling to move 5–10x faster without sacrificing quality.
