Job summary

LLR Partners is hiring two Forward Deployed Engineers to build AI-native products that generate operating leverage across the firm. You will ship agentic workflows, custom web apps and enterprise knowledge infrastructure from problem framing to production in weeks.

This mid-level role offers ownership, working with Investment, Origination and the Value Creation Team, and expanding across functions to deliver production-ready tools at scale.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year shipping production LLM applications, agents or retrieval systems.
• Strong Python and TypeScript, with Next.js or Streamlit tooling.
• Hands-on with foundation model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and prompt engineering.
• Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings and vector stores.
• Experience designing MCP servers and Claude Skills integrations.
• Familiar with regulated environments and audit/logs considerations.

Responsibilities

• Ship AI-native internal products and agentic workflows across teams.
• Build the platform layer with MCP servers and RAG pipelines.
• Develop custom internal web apps (Next.js/React/Streamlit).
• Contribute to enterprise knowledge graph and semantic search.
• Design the judgement layer with guardrails and approvals.
• Instrument adoption, usage, and value realized by agents.
• Collaborate with deal teams and other functions to identify workflows.
• Run trainings and create playbooks to drive AI adoption.
