Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking an Artificial Intelligence and Modern Work Specialist to lead implementation and technical consulting for AI and Modern Work solutions across campus. You will provide university-wide consulting on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence tools and help build AI services and solutions to address campus needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology related field with five years of relevant experience; four extra years may substitute for the degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, public speaking and training delivery.
• Experience with Generative AI systems like Copilot and ChatGPT, including building agents and chatbots.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including system and network diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide university-wide consulting on AI and Modern Work implementations.
• Deliver training and end-user instruction on Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Power Platform.
• Assist departments with secure, low-code workflow improvements and adoption programs.
