Job summary

AMD seeks a data analytics and ML engineer to improve yield and reliability of server CPUs and Instinct accelerators. You will transform massive manufacturing data into actionable insights, deploy analytics and ML models, and partner with Product, Test, and Quality teams to drive manufacturing efficiency.

You will develop production-ready tools and contribute reusable analytics frameworks, communicating results to engineers and executives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, Physics or Applied Math.
Hands-on experience with high-volume manufacturing data and analytics.
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL; able to deploy ML solutions to production.
Familiarity with wafer sort, final test, DPPM analysis, and yield analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify analytics and ML use cases to improve yield, quality, and cost.
Develop and deploy ML/AI for outlier screening, drift detection, and excursion analytics across wafer/lot/site dimensions.
Perform root-cause analysis of yield loss and DPPM drivers using cross-functional data.
Build production-ready analytics in AVA platform and deploy models at scale.
Drive adaptive test and binning strategies using data-driven insights.
