Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/Data Science-related degrees, with skills in Python, ML concepts, and NLP. The internship emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams and exposure to real-world aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field and enrolled through the internship session.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of AI/ML prototypes for data analysis and process improvement.
• Work with XML-based documentation to prepare datasets for analysis.
• Develop and test ML models for classification, pattern recognition, or anomaly detection.
• Evaluate model performance using defined metrics (precision, recall, FP rate).
• Build scripts to support exploratory data analysis and preprocessing.
• Support integration of AI outputs into human-in-the-loop workflow.
• Document model assumptions, limitations, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical publications, QA, and engineering to validate prototype outputs.
