Job summary

MNF Global is seeking a registered Patent Agent in Washington, DC to handle patent work for clients developing advanced software and AI technologies, including NLP, ML, and large language models.

You will draft patent applications, work with inventors to craft claim strategies, and assist with Office Actions and client counseling, supported by a team of experienced patent professionals for both established companies and startups.

Qualifications

• USPTO registration and prior patent prosecution experience.
• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• Experience in AI/ML/LLMs, NLP valued.
• Advanced CS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft U.S. patent applications and prosecute before USPTO.
• Work with inventors to understand new technologies and develop claim strategies.
• Prepare Office Action responses and help clients prosecute.
• Contribute to patent opinions and client counseling.
• Provide technical support on litigation and other patent matters.
