Vanguard-IP seeks a highly qualified attorney with a technical background and USPTO registration to draft and prosecute patent applications, especially in AI/ML, and to help build strategic IP portfolios under partner-level mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• Registered to practice before the USPTO.
• Prior experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications directed to AI/ML technologies.
• Strong technical and patent prosecution experience in areas including medical devices, semiconductors, ICs, fintech, cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, software systems.
• Ability to analyze complex technologies, communicate with inventors and in-house counsel, and develop strategic IP portfolios under partner-level mentorship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• J.D. from accredited law school and admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction required for attorneys.
