G2 Software Systems, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Software Engineer (AI/ML), Mid-Level to join a hands-on team building AI-enabled tools for a Department of War customer.

You will develop NLP/ML capabilities in Python, design knowledge graphs, and create collaborative web applications that put them in users’ hands. This on-site role offers opportunities to shape new tools from the ground up, work with a small team, and contribute to production deployments, APIs, and data integrations while

Qualifications

• Four or more years of Python development experience or four+ years front-end TypeScript experience deploying production, multi-user apps.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in computer science, data science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on NLP/ML experience in Python (text analytics, topic modeling, embeddings, entity extraction).
• Experience building knowledge graphs or network-analysis tools in Python.
• Experience building and deploying APIs and connecting data feeds.
• US citizen able to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and evaluate NLP/ML pipelines in Python: text analytics, topic modeling, embedding-based classification, and entity extraction.
• Design knowledge graphs and network-analysis tools in Python, including GraphRAG-style retrieval systems.
• Develop multi-user, live collaborative front-end applications in TypeScript.
• Build and deploy APIs and connect data feeds to team applications.
• Deploy and support production applications used by multiple users; manage code in Git.
• Adapt to new environments quickly with limited supervision.
