Job summary

Worky is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the Distributed Applications team. You will contribute to web, mobile, AIML, and legacy applications, collaborating with senior engineers to design, test, and deploy features.

You will write code, participate in peer reviews, and help improve software quality and processes while adopting CI/CD practices and modern development tools. This role offers learning opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1 year of software development experience across web technologies, AIML, and cloud apps.
• 1 year of experience deploying and debugging apps on app/web servers and cloud platforms.
• 1 year of experience with version control, agile methodologies, SDLC, build tools, and issue tracking.
• Prefer experience with Code assist tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
• Collaborate with the team on software products and development methodologies.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain application code using appropriate tools.
• Participate in peer code reviews and application performance reviews to improve quality.
• Research new products and tools to meet business needs.
