Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an AI & ML Software Engineer to design and build AI-powered software for world-scale supercomputers and AI infrastructure. The role supports observability, analytics, and AI-driven operations across large-scale environments.

The position is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office in Colorado. You will work with Go, Python, React, and related technologies to deliver production-ready software and AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production systems experience.
• Experience with Go, Python, and React or quick productivity in similar technologies.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems, observability platforms, infrastructure software, or operational tooling.
• Ability to apply AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, analytics, or intelligent automation to real-world products.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Go, Python, and React, or the ability to quickly become productive in similar technologies.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems, observability platforms, infrastructure software, or operational tooling.
• Experience applying AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, analytics, or intelligent automation to real-world products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to Have: High Performance Computing (HPC), supercomputing, or AI infrastructure experience.
• Nice to Have: Experience with observability, telemetry, monitoring, performance analysis, or operational analytics.
