AfterQuery in San Francisco invites undergraduate and master's students to join our AI/ML Research Internship. You’ll work directly with our research team on cutting-edge projects focused on advanced reasoning, computer use, and agentic models, with access to specialized datasets and expert guidance.

Successful interns will co-author papers for top AI conferences, gain hands-on experience with frontier AI systems, and potentially present work at major venues.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in a relevant field.
• Experience in AI/ML research projects or coursework.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with datasets and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Support research scientists in designing and running experiments.
• Collect, process, and analyze proprietary datasets.
• Help develop and test new algorithms for advanced reasoning and agents.
• Contribute to research documentation and findings.
• Present findings in discussions with researchers.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects with interns and researchers
