Job summary

Avum Inc. seeks an AI/ML Integration Specialist to weave AI capabilities into business applications and platforms. You will partner with engineering, data, and product teams to deploy reliable, secure, and scalable production solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing integrations, deploying generative AI, LLMs, NLP, CV, and analytics; building data pipelines and APIs; ensuring security, governance, and responsible AI practices while documenting architectures and operations.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• Three+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, ML engineering, data engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, microservices, and third party platforms.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, model lifecycle, and AI architecture.
• Experience with databases, data pipelines, JSON, SQL, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, logging, monitoring, and production deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations connecting AI/ML models, APIs, and services with existing applications.
• Implement generative AI, large language models (LLMs), NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics capabilities.
• Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, middleware, and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements and move models to production.
• Evaluate and improve AI solution performance, scalability, security, reliability, and cost.
• Monitor deployed solutions, troubleshoot issues, and establish testing, version control, deployment, and monitoring practices.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI requirements.
• Document architectures, integrations, and operating procedures, and recommend emerging technologies.
