Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML & Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI/ML and GenAI solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with AI/ML expertise and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions. The role requires working onsite from any of the TCS office locations in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Texas, or Tampa, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Forward Deployment & Customer Engagement

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Translate business problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and solution design.
• Deploy pilot solutions and continuously improve them based on customer feedback.

AI/ML Engineering

• Build and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, forecasting, NLP, and anomaly detection.
• Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance optimization.
• Develop robust testing and validation strategies.

GenAI & LLM Engineering

• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and LLM integrations.
• Implement guardrails, hallucination reduction, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring.

MLOps / LLMOps

• Deploy AI solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement model versioning, monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining.
• Maintain production-grade AI systems.

API & Systems Integration

• Develop REST APIs and microservices.
• Integrate AI solutions into enterprise platforms.
• Work with Azure API Management, OAuth2/JWT authentication, and enterprise integration patterns.

Technical Leadership

• Mentor engineering teams.
• Conduct design reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Produce architecture documentation and reusable accelerators.
