Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to build automation software, diagnostics, and fleet health infrastructure for our accelerated compute platforms.

You will work across teams to design scalable, reliable systems that keep GPU/accelerator fleets running at peak. You will tackle hardware, firmware, kernel, and software problems end to end, writing code that prevents failures and builds intelligent self-healing automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting systems with reliability and scaling
• Experience programming in modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of Linux experience
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of complex systems

Responsibilities

• Build and own automation infrastructure for accelerator (AI/ML) fleet health at scale
• Design and develop test frameworks, coverage strategies, and diagnostic tooling
• Develop and maintain Linux device drivers on ARM and x86; CI/CD for manufacturing lines
