Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an AI Engineer to transform operational data into production-grade ML pipelines, models, and LLM-powered applications. You will design and deploy AI/ML products, build robust APIs, and collaborate with analytics teams to embed AI into existing tools.

You will lead AI/ML lifecycle from requirements to deployment, ensure model monitoring, and drive AI strategy with executive stakeholders. Expect in-person collaboration at GE facilities in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience building and deploying machine learning models and/or AI-powered applications to production

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and evolve AI-powered software products including LLM applications, forecasting models, anomaly detection systems, and intelligent agents
• Package AI/ML models as robust, well-documented APIs for dashboards, applications, and workflows
• Collaborate with BI team to embed AI features into existing applications for natural language queries and predictive insights
• Provide hands-on AI/ML technical leadership for modernization, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, experimentation tracking, and responsible AI development
• Translate requirements into a prioritized backlog of AI/ML products with timelines and measurable business outcomes
• Design data pipelines feeding AI/ML models ensuring data quality and feature engineering from Databricks medallion architecture
