Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an AI Machine Learning Engineer to bridge data science and production. They develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade ML/AI applications with clinicians, analytics developers, researchers, and data engineers to deliver real-time insights aligned with clinical and operational goals.

The role emphasizes reproducible pipelines, model governance, and scalable software practices across cloud platforms and ML libraries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, ML, CS, IE, or Analytics.
• Master’s degree preferred or four years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience implementing ML algorithms in production environments.
• Healthcare data experience and HIPAA familiarity preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize reproducible pipelines for model training, validation, and inference.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AI/ML systems for high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and engineers to translate requirements into ML solutions.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to improve code quality.
• Follow guidelines for documentation, project management, and responsible AI.
• Work with enterprise teams to maintain a modern ML architecture roadmap.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and translational projects aligned with quality goals.
