James Search Group is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join their enterprise Data and Artificial Intelligence division in a role focused on building and deploying predictive models that drive decision-making across underwriting, claims, and customer engagement.

The candidate will collaborate with senior team members to refine intelligent systems and translate complex data into practical business solutions, with a strong emphasis on analytics and communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field; strong analytics background.
• 2+ years applying advanced analytics methods (e.g., decision trees, logistic regression, neural nets).
• Proficiency in R or Python for analytics and model development with structured/unstructured data.
• Experience managing large, complex datasets and end-to-end data modeling processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, linking outputs to business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of AI/ML models including classification, forecasting, uplift and propensity modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data science use cases that boost efficiency and performance.
• Partner with business, IT, and strategy to ensure AI models are scalable and aligned with goals.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders with varying technical levels.
