Job summary

Core4ce seeks an experienced AI/ML Specialist to develop AI-enabled tools for complex intelligence and geospatial problems. You will prototype solutions, work with large-scale data, and translate research into operational capabilities.

The ideal candidate has strong Python and AI/ML frameworks skills, cloud experience, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Springfield, VA-based role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent with extensive AI/ML experience.
• Active TS-SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Hands-on experience developing, prototyping, and applying AI/ML solutions.
• Experience testing and evaluating AI and emerging technologies for performance and applicability.
• Experience with large-scale, complex datasets and Python-based data science tools.
• Experience applying AI/ML to GEOINT, GIS, and geospatial imagery.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and multimodal AI.
• Experience in cloud-based AI/ML environments and transitioning research into operations.
• Collaborative experience with DoW and Intelligence Community organizations.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; publications/pats a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prototype AI/ML-enabled tools and workflows for analytical problems.
• Apply AI/ML to GEOINT, GIS, geospatial, and imagery tasks.
• Research, experiment with, and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
• Design testing approaches to assess performance, scalability, and applicability.
• Work with diverse datasets including commercial, social media, open-source, and intelligence sources.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and conduct technical experimentation.
• Analyze results and provide recommendations on use cases of AI/ML solutions.
• Support transition of research and prototypes into operational environments.
• Collaborate with DoW and IC teams on advanced AI/ML initiatives.
• Prepare technical briefings and demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences.
