Job summary

Everforth ECS in Dahlgren, VA is seeking an AI/ML Software Engineer to join a Navy/DoD cyber defense program. You will develop production ML systems, design data pipelines, and implement secure, scalable features across the full software lifecycle.

You will work in an agile team, design and test components, and contribute to performance and security reviews while collaborating with cyber experts on mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Citizenship with DoD clearance level.
• (Note: final clearance process required.)
• Experience delivering production-scale ML systems and infrastructure.
• Experience deploying ML models, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and GitLab.
• Experience designing data pipelines, ETL, and data streaming.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL database and cloud (Azure) familiarity.
• Experience with API design/integration for ML services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify software applications from requirements.
• Design, code, benchmark, debug, and document features.
• Assess existing enterprise apps for new features and upgrades.
• Participate in performance, load, and stress testing; fix issues.
• Contribute to security architecture reviews of large systems.
• Support full lifecycle from requirements to sustainment.
• Create docs, test scripts, and training materials; stay agile in sprints.
