Job summary

Job description

We’re looking for an AI/ML engineer who can take real-world business problems and turn them into practical, production-ready solutions. This includes understanding existing workflows, identifying where AI can provide meaningful improvements, and designing systems that fit naturally into the way people already work.

Candidates should have a strong software engineering and data foundation, including experience with data structures, data modeling, system architecture, and algorithms. A solid understanding of probability and statistics is important, along with hands-on experience using machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Strong programming skills are expected, particularly with Python, Java, C++, or similar languages and development environments.

The role involves both building models and putting them to work. Candidates should have experience training and evaluating machine learning models as well as incorporating existing and pre-trained models into larger applications, data pipelines, and production software. We’re looking for someone who thinks beyond the model itself and understands how AI components interact with data, APIs, infrastructure, and the rest of an application.

Experience designing secure AI systems that work with sensitive or tightly controlled data is a plus. Additional experience with ETL pipelines, AWS, and leading AI/ML projects is also valuable. The right person will be a strong problem solver who can work through ambiguous technical challenges, communicate their approach clearly, and collaborate effectively with engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
